Cindy L. Deschaine, 61, of Marinette passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at home. She was born to the late Lavern “Beans” and Lorna (Schroeder) Techmeier in Marinette. She graduated from Marinette High School and obtained her Associates degree in Accounting from NWTC. Cindy married Roland “Rory” Deschaine on May 4, 1996 in Menominee; he preceded her in death on May 20, 2003. She had worked at the EagleHerald for ten years, Tyco for six years, and as the manager at the Dome Lanes for many years. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, crafting, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Menominee and the Women of the Moose.
Cindy is survived by her daughter, Sara (Jeramy) Techmeier; son, Jacob Deschaine; step son, Tyler (Tiffany) Deschaine; grandchildren: Trenton and Madison; brothers: Mark (Cathy) Techmeier, Joe Techmeier, Alvin (Linda) Techmeier, Tom (Karen) Techmeier, and John (Karyn) Techmeier; sisters: Betty (Paul) Nyberg, Diane (Mike) Fritz, and Gloria (Bill) Kuhnlein. In addition to her parents and husband, Rory, she was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Techmeier.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, November 5th from 10am-2pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm with Pastor Doug Schoen. A further celebration of life will be held at the 4pm at the Dome Lanes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be used for a future scholarship fund for bowlers in her name at Marinette High School.
